This year, We’re partnering with the Indiana Gazette, as well as ICCAP for the Angel Wing’s Christmas Gift Program. By picking up a tag in the lobby at our angel tree, you can help provide Christmas gifts to children or adults in our community who otherwise wouldn’t receive one. Often these adults who are receiving the gifts are disabled, veterans, or over 65 years old and they’re alone.
The tag will tell you the age and gender of the person, & ideas of gifts that have been wished for. You don’t have to feel obligated to get all of the gift ideas, but if you want to you can.
You’ll also see tags on the tree that just say “book tag” with an age on it. This portion has been added this year so that each child can receive a book. You can pick up one of these tags and choose whether to get 1 book in this age range or as many books as you want to get them.
The impact that we can have this Christmas season is huge. I’m so grateful we can take care of our community together. Please do not wrap your gifts, but bring them back in bags along with your tag by Sunday, December 9th. You can drop them off during church office hours or on a weekend service. Just drop it off by the angel tree
