*REGISTRATION FULL* We believe that Summit Church is here to serve our community. From helping individuals to local organizations and city beautification, we LOVE Indiana and want to do everything we can to bless our city. Join us on Sept 30th as we love & serve our community in practical ways! We'll be meeting at Summit at 8:30 AM and dispersing into teams to different areas of Indiana. The projects will last until about noon on this day. Projects involving visiting residents will start at 1 or 1:30PM.

We have an INCREDIBLE opportunity to show some love towards local warriors who have sacrificed so much for us & our country! On November 10th, Summit will be hosting a private dinner called Operation Warrior OutREACH, where we serve single military veterans who struggle with social skills & daily living. These veterans have been invited privately (not open to public) & we are so excited to show them some love & appreciation. We are looking for military veterans who attend Summit church to serve during this outreach! If you are interested, please sign up below. If you're not a veteran & would like to still be a part, you can drop off a Roseann's gift certificate to go towards the desserts! Join us for this special time of Q&A on how to connect with other cultures in our city. “And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’” Matthew 28:18-20 When you hear this commission what comes to mind? Mission trips? Missionaries you’ve met?...Have you ever considered the call you have RIGHT here in Indiana? Have you thought about the thousands of international students we have living in our backyard? How about the hundreds of Muslims neighboring you? Jamie & Tony Sebastian have spent years intentionally learning to love different cultures. Their current endeavor as owners of iHeart Cafe in Cyprus & Thessaloniki have immersed them into the Greek & Muslim culture. The Sebastians are dedicated to learning & loving well in order to shed Christ’s light in dark places. Summit Church will be hosting a Q&A on April 29th at 2pm led by these brilliant minds & you do not want to miss it. If you have a heart for others, especially those who are different than you, join us for this very unique opportunity. This forum will leave you more knowledgable and comfortable while communicating & ministering to people of other cultures. Youth in Junior High and High School are welcome to join this conversation! There will not be childcare and we ask that you do not bring children.

We are gearing up for an unforgettable evening on Friday, July 27th! Starlit Night is an event for individuals with special needs ages 15+ where they can have a grand red carpet entrance, pose for the paparazzi, and enjoy dinner and dancing with their friends!

IUP Homecoming is a huge event in Indiana & as a church, we’ve had the awesome opportunity to serve police, EMT, and firemen!! We’re looking for Dream Team members to join  us in serving our first responders during one of their busiest days of the year! Join us in loving on our community & serving those who risk their lives for us. We’re looking for people to sign up to work a shift on October 5th or October 6th. Be ready to bring a smile, interact with our first responders & serve food! You can also invest into this outreach by providing a Visa gift card in one of our offering boxes on a weekend or bring it by the office Monday-Thursday from 9AM to 5PM! Adults & college students 18 years or older may serve. We do not need many people per shift, so limited space available to serve. Join us in being the light during this weekend! We are honored to serve.

We are collecting food throughout the month of February for our community children! ICAAP's donation operated program is designed to help meet the needs of children at risk of hunger when food resources aren’t available for them, mostly during non-school hours, especially weekends and holidays. These students range in age from 5-12 years old and are in the 12 Elementary Schools in the 7 School Districts in Indiana County. Through this program, the food is distributed each week & there is no charge to the children’s families or the school district for this service. HOW CAN YOU HELP? You can bring in food donations to the Discovery Room of Summit Church during weekend services or during office hours during the week. (Monday-Thursday from 9AM-5PM). We will have totes set up to collect food donations. CHILD-FRIENDLY AND NON-PERISHABLE FOOD SUGGESTIONS: Juice Boxes Canned Pasta Fruit Cups Light Popcorn Oatmeal Crackers Macaroni & Cheese Individual Cereal Boxes Shelf Stable Milk Canned Ravioli/Lasagna Pudding/Jello Cups Granola Bars Fruit Snacks Canned Soup Healthy Snack Food Canned Tuna Right now there is an immediate need for drinks and snacks. You may also drop off donations to ICCAP on Monday-Friday between 7AM-2:30PM. If you prefer to give financially, you may write out a check to ICCAP and put “Power Pack Program” in the memo and submit to the offering box or drop off in person to our office M-Th 9-5pm.
